WCATY is an accelerated program for elementary, middle, and high school students. For four summers, I’ve instructed an art course for a group of middle school students at UW-Madison, Edgewood College and Beloit College in 1-2 week classes. I taught the students the basics of photography, manipulating images in Photoshop, and creating stop motion animations.
I worked together with my brother, a Graphic Designer at UCLA, to develop the curriculum. I also taught an Ultimate Frisbee clinic in the afternoons, teaching kids the basics of the sport. The students came up with some profound work, and I created a website to showcase everything they did called Single Light Source.
